WELCOME! The only tubing experience in Sonoma County! We rent tubes, ice chests, kayaks, & Stand-up Paddle Boards for your River fun! We have 2 tubing adventures to choose from and they both have a shuttle. Our shop in Guerneville has water shoes, sunblock, hat, ect to make your river day the best day! BOOK BELOW!
What is the river like Currently?
We got out on some kayaks this week and the river is absolutely gorgeous! The turtles are basking on their logs, the Osprey are hunting to feed their new babies, the Cormorants are fishing, and the fish are jumping! Since we had a good amount of rain this last winter, the river is so full and vibrant! In years past, folks have dragged in a few spots but, not this year!! Now for kayaks and Stand-Up Paddle boards you will head down to Monte Rio while the river is dam free. This year we have a new location!! NEW TO STEELHEAD BEACH!!! Yes, that’s right! You can now get your tubes at Steelhead on the weekends and holidays instead of coming to our shop in Guerneville! Book below and call if you have any questions!
How it works:
Come to the shop to pick up equipment and sign paperwork. We will bring your tubes/SUPs/Kayaks down to the water. We provide Life jackets, dry bags and paddles for all rentals.
River tubes: Once your group has signed waivers and picked up equipment, we will bring your rentals to the water for you and you will float to the summer crossing where we will shuttle you back. Or you will be shuttled to the summer crossing to float up to Johnson’s Beach, depending on whether the dams are in. Folks can absolutely park at either end and take care of transportation themselves, however there is limited parking at the summer crossing dam. We have other options before the dams are put in as well.

You can go up river and/or down river from Johnson’s Beach as long as the equipment is returned by 5pm. Our Paddle boards also have kayaks seats available, just ask!
Once you pick up your rentals, you have them for the rest of the day. All rentals must be returned by 5pm.

Single & Double river tubes Distance: 2 Miles Approx. float time: 3-4 hours (before June 16th 2-4 hours) For all experience levels!

Rules & Requirements for tubes, SUPs, & Kayaks: 1. No glass or Styrofoam please! 2. All participants MUST have basic swimming skills. Life Jackets are available! 3. All participants must be prepared physically to paddle for long periods of time. 4. Due to safety, pets are not allowed. 5. Minimum age of 5 years old.
What to bring: Expect to get wet! Wear swim wear for your journey and bring towels. Bring good shoes for the water, water shoes or close toed sandals. Flip flops are not advised. Bring drinking water. Bring food, snacks. There are many beaches to stop at and have lunch or a quick bite. Bring sunscreen, hats, ect to protect yourselves from sun damage.
